BMW's latest offering, the 2025 BMW 1 Series, skips the typical Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) revisions and leaps straight into a new generation. Known as the F70, this model made its grand debut recently, captivating audiences across Europe. BMW Greece showcased the M135, complete with an optional Individual Frozen Pure Grey paint job and the most substantial wheels you can get on this model.
Design and Performance
Finished in the eye-catching Frozen Pure Grey, the M135 flaunts 19-inch wheels dubbed Style 976 M. The flagship 1 Series isn’t just about aesthetics; BMW Greece decked out their smallest model with an impressive array of optional extras. Features include adaptive LED matrix headlights with distinct blue inner accents and Shadowline details that turn heads everywhere—think blacked-out kidney grille and mirror caps.
Adding to its sporty flair, the M135 now dons an M badge on the kidney grille, a familiar sight if you’ve seen the X1 M35i or X2 M35i. Rear cruise control is provided by X2-esque taillights and a mean quad exhaust system with black finishers. Red brake calipers indicate the absence of the optional M Compound brakes—upgraded versions feature gray calipers.
Interior Sophistication
Peeking inside, it’s impossible to miss the dramatic transformation in the cabin. Features like the M-colored decorative stitching on the dashboard and steering wheel add a unique flair. The interior doesn’t shy away from color; blue highlights grace the door cards and seats.
The fourth-gen 1 Series has streamlined its center console, with most controls relocated to the touchscreen interface. BMW has eliminated the iDrive rotary knob and replaced the classic gear lever with a sleek, minimal selector. Notably, this model comes only with automatic transmission, marking another step away from manual gearboxes in BMW’s lineup.
The 2025 BMW 1 Series is gearing up for a full European market launch in October. Germany is expected to be the biggest market, though Japan surprisingly ranks among the top five regions anticipated to welcome the new 1er.
