Tesla's Electrifying Leap Into Oklahoma: The Future of EV Charging Unveiled

Slated for activation next year, these 13 EV charging stations are pivotal to Oklahoma's ambitious NEVI EV charger installation program. With an investment totalling $66 million through 2027, the NEVI Formula Program demonstrates Oklahoma's commitment to spearheading an extensive state EV charging network, bolstered by the support of the federal NEVI initiative which dedicates $5 billion over five years to develop a cohesive EV charging station network across the United States.

The NEVI program sets high standards, requiring stations to be spaced no more than 50 miles apart, to be accessible 24/7, and to offer at least four ports capable of delivering 150 kW of power each.
