With the exterior's vibrant color palette, it was crucial to ensure that the interior stood out just as much. My wish list included luxurious materials, stunning colors, and a design that screamed exclusivity.
On that fateful Friday morning, I arrived at Spotlight Customs filled with anticipation, ready to unveil the fruits of our labor. The whole project drew me in like a magnet, as I witnessed the transformation pieces that were already ready and waiting.
A Taste of Perfection
The sport seat, a combination of a wrecked driver’s side and an untouched passenger side, was exquisite and a testament to expert craftsmanship. Finished in rich Italian leather and beautifully designed wool inserts, it surpassed all my expectations. The color was expertly matched to the exterior paint, creating a seamless and glorious aesthetic that elevated the car to a new level of sophistication.
But the real show-stealer? The center console. It was so stunning that I had to resist the urge to display it on my living room bookshelf instead of installing it back into the car. As we wrapped up this session and prepared to design the rest of the interior, my mind raced with possibilities. It was exhilarating but nerve-wracking to think about what's next. Later this year, the dashboard will be tackled, the headliner reimagined, and all the finishing touches laid down.
By next spring, I'm hoping to be cruising in a fully restored Porsche 996 Turbo, with a minimalist interior that still screams luxury.
