Exclusive Look: All You Need to Know About the Next-Gen G45 BMW X3 Models
First introduced in 2003, the BMW X3 is set to launch a new generation this year with the G45 BMW X3. Scheduled to debut in June, the G45 BMW X3 will hit the U.S. market with two variants - the top-tier G45 BMW X3 M50 and the entry-level X3 xDrive30.
Evolutionary Design
The G45 BMW X3 is crafted on the versatile CLAR architecture and showcases an evolution in styling compared to its predecessor. The 2025 BMW X3 will sport a refreshed exterior with new headlights, a revised kidney grille, and rear double LEDs forming an L-shape within a sleek glass housing.
The interior of the G45 BMW X3 adopts a less Neue Klasse approach and leans more towards CLAR architecture. Anticipate a large curved display with iDrive 9 and Android Automotive OS, along with a toggle switch gear shift knob while retaining the iconic iDrive knob dial and flat-bottom steering wheel trend.
The highlight of the lineup, the BMW X3 M50, will replace the X3 M40i. It will boast a B58 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine generating 392 horsepower, an increase from its predecessor. The Spartanburg Plant in the U.S. and the Roslyn Plant in South Africa will both handle global production.
