Unveiled: The Bold New Look of the 2025 Audi RS 3 Sedan

Thanks to the talented artists at Kolesa, who are renowned for their realistic digital illustrations, we have an almost tangible feel of what the 2025 Audi RS 3 will look like, based on the latest prototypes.
The 2025 Audi RS 3, often seen as a formidable rival to the BMW M2 albeit with two extra doors, has been brilliantly reimagined here. The renderings don't stray far from what we’ve seen on the actual prototypes, showcasing a striking combination of sharp headlamps, a refined grille, and a newly sculpted bumper featuring integrated apron and generous air intakes. The rear end is equally impressive, housing new taillights, an updated bumper, a diffuser, and the RS-signature large dual-oval exhaust pipes.
Much attention to detail has been maintained, even down to the wheels, which mirror those on the prototype that recently smashed records at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. In case you missed it, the pre-production Audi RS 3 lapped the 20.832 km (12.9 miles) track in 7:33.123, trimming seven seconds off the pre-facelifted model’s time and outrunning the latest-gen BMW M2 by more than five seconds.

Under the hood, the new RS 3 retains the celebrated five-cylinder engine, a 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged marvel that’s beloved by enthusiasts. This powerplant delivers 394 horsepower in the European variant and a slightly beefier 401 horsepower in the North American version. Although these figures remain consistent with the pre-facelift model, Audi Sport's chief hints at untapped potential, leaving room for future, high-performance derivatives that might turn this RS 3 into an even more exhilarating drive.
Beyond its aesthetic updates, the 2025 RS 3 introduces some critical mechanical enhancements. These include optional adaptive dampers and fully variable torque distribution between the front and rear axles, which promises a more agile and dynamic driving experience. Riders can also opt for 19-inch ceramic brakes, while the prototype that set the Nurburgring record did so on semi-slick Pirelli tires.
The revamped RS 3 is scheduled to make its grand debut on August 30, 2024, with European customers getting their hands on the first units by late October.
